About The Position

We are looking to fill a Mechanical Assembler position to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, assembling mechanical components, operating CNC equipment, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Manufacturing, assembly, or machine shop experience preferred.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
Ability to read tape measures and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read assembly drawings and blueprints.
Strong organizational and inventory skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Dependable attendance and a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

CNC machine operating experience.
Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
Experience working with inventory systems or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Load and unload parts while monitoring machine operation.
Deburr, clean, and prepare machined parts for assembly.
Assemble mechanical valves, actuators, and related components according to assembly drawings and procedures.
Install hardware, seals, bearings, bushings, fasteners, and other mechanical components.
Use hand tools such as wrenches, ratchets, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently.
Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Verify assembled products meet company quality standards before shipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
Count, organize, and maintain inventory of parts and hardware.
Pull parts and kits for production orders.
Report inventory shortages and assist with cycle counts.
Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
Package finished products for shipment.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Assist other departments as production demands require.
