Requirements

  • Manufacturing, assembly, or machine shop experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read tape measures and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong organizational and inventory skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • CNC machine operating experience.
  • Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
  • Experience working with inventory systems or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload parts while monitoring machine operation.
  • Deburr, clean, and prepare machined parts for assembly.
  • Assemble mechanical valves, actuators, and related components according to assembly drawings and procedures.
  • Install hardware, seals, bearings, bushings, fasteners, and other mechanical components.
  • Use hand tools such as wrenches, ratchets, torque wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently.
  • Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Verify assembled products meet company quality standards before shipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Count, organize, and maintain inventory of parts and hardware.
  • Pull parts and kits for production orders.
  • Report inventory shortages and assist with cycle counts.
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
  • Package finished products for shipment.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Assist other departments as production demands require.
