Requirements

High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years of on the job training/experience
Proven experience as a Mechanical Assembler or similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Able to learn and become proficient in the use of an ERP system and other databases
Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills - ability to clearly and concisely convey information in a timely and accurate manner
Excellent organizational skills - ability to multitask and effectively prioritize and perform tasks efficiently
Self-directed and can work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results in a fast paced environment
Available to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)
Available for periodic overtime

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components according to specifications and schematics with the aid of small power tools.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Perform other duties as required
