About The Position

The Mechanical Assembler requires a wide range of skills to prepare bulk container handling equipment both mechanically and simple electrical assemblies. This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Or one to three months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Blue Print Reading

Responsibilities

  • Use Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. machine drawings, machine assembly drawings, controls schematics and relevant bills of materials to proficiently build according to drawings and problem solve where needed.
  • Engage in the reduction and/or elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization.
  • Utilize hand tools proficiently in performing the following tasks: Structural assembly, Mechanical drive assembly, Fluid control assembly, Guard and cover assembly, Mechanical assembly, simple electrical assembly.
  • Work must represent quality workmanship, neatness, with acceptable efficiencies.
  • Complete quality assurance checks for the Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC. Blue Books.
  • Provide accurate documentation skills that includes labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.
  • Execute Arrowhead Conveyor, LLC inventory re-ordering policies that includes "Kanban".
  • Prepare equipment for shipment including, but not limited to, machine teardown.
