As a Mechanical Assembler for Weiler Labeling Systems, you‘ll be responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical Assembly of the equipment manufactured by the company. This includes advanced rotary and in-line pressure sensitive labelers, label printers, and syringe plunger rod insertion solutions for leading pharmaceutical and consumer products companies. Requirements
- 5 + years of experience assembling electromechanical equipment, preferably light industrial
- Good working knowledge of mechanical systems and mechanical asssembly techniques
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Associates Degree Preferred
- Technical School Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform Mechanical Assembly and/or repairs of assigned equipment
- Assemble or repair electro-mechanical equipment
- Decipher information from equipment manuals and schematics to troubleshoot various types of equipment malfunction
- Assist engineers and other production staff in the debug of equipment on the production floor
- Perform evaluations of new technologies with potential application as a new process or as a modification to existing equipment
