We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Mechanical Assembler to join our team in City of Industry, United States. Requirements

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and technical drawings
  • Strong manual dexterity and precision in handling mechanical components
  • Solid understanding of mechanical assembly techniques and processes
  • Ability to perform quality control checks and identify defects
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
  • Capacity to work independently while remaining collaborative with team members
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, intense manufacturing environment
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as required by operational needs
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in assembly line or manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management principles
  • Experience working with mechanical components and assembly processes
  • Demonstrated ability to meet productivity targets consistently
  • Background in quality assurance or inspection roles
  • Relevant manufacturing or assembly certifications

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret assembly orders and technical instructions accurately, following all specifications from top to bottom
  • Execute external and internal assembly processes for mechanical components, including knobs, levers, springs, shims, and plates
  • Apply appropriate materials such as plastic washers and grease according to product requirements
  • Test assembled components to verify proper mechanism function and ensure correct tightness and alignment
  • Maintain organized and clean workstations throughout your shift, keeping only necessary materials readily accessible
  • Refill individual and shared bins as needed to support continuous workflow
  • Track productivity and quality metrics on hourly documentation sheets, recording completion times and any discrepancies
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working across various departments and roles as needed to support operational demands
  • Collaborate with team leads and fellow assemblers to resolve challenges and maintain consistent output
  • Meet established productivity and quality goals while maintaining a strong work ethic
