This role is for a 2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler with working hours from 2pm to 11:30pm. The assembler will be responsible for meeting production goals, communicating effectively with leadership, and collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams. The job involves preparing work by studying instructions and blueprint specifications, performing various inspections to meet IPC standards, and operating production equipment such as Conformal Coat, Plasma Cleaners, and Cure Ovens. Key tasks include performing all aspects of mechanical assembly, applying underfill and masking materials, and preparing PCBs for coating. The role also requires operating, cleaning, and maintaining coating machines and related tools, following production schedules and SOPs, and performing rework or touch-up operations. Ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and supporting continuous improvement are also essential duties. Overtime is available and encouraged.
