About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for our 2nd shift operations. This role involves supporting mold processing, including resin filling, oven processing, demolding, mold cleaning, and returning molds to the loading station. The assembler will work with various fasteners and structural components, ensuring proper fit and clearance using basic hand tools. This position operates within a small team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of previous mechanical assembly experience, preferably working with Aerospace products
• Self Starter
• Ability to work with little to no instruction and supervision
• Previous machine shop work practices background preferred

Responsibilities

• Completing the resin fill, oven processing, demolding, mold cleaning, and material movement to return molds to the loading station
• Work with fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, nuts, helicoils, inserts, and adhesives
• Align and fit sub and structural assemblies by installing and connecting parts, fittings, and assemblies
• Cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth parts, and verify sizes and fitting tolerances in order to ensure proper fit and clearance
• Use basic hand tools, i.e., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, hammer, ratchets & sockets, ruler, calipers
• Works within small team/group
