About The Position
Datrose is seeking an Assembler I for a one-year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire. This role involves building noncomplex optical/electrical/mechanical sub-assemblies within quality requirements. The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented, contributing to a team that provides high-value technology to customers in the medical imaging systems industry. The company has a worldwide reach with a long-standing local footprint.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED/HSE or 1+ years of Manufacturing/Assembly experience
- Electrical or Mechanical Assembly experience preferred
- Familiarity with small hand tools
- Decision making and problem-solving skills
- Be organized and have excellent attention to detail
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of safety, lean manufacturing and process improvement is helpful
- Basic computer skills
Responsibilities
- Follow standard work processes as provided
- Assembles final product and systems per manufacturing drawings and work instructions
- Will help around the manufacturing floor as needed
- Tests production product to ensure proper operation per established test criteria
- Assemble pre-fabricated parts / pieces from a stocked work cart
- Accurately record data
- Provide input or feedback during team discussions
- Engage with team members and work effectively with others
- Comply with all company policies & regulations
