About The Position

Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired systems; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, medium & large caliber ammunitions, mortar ammunition; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.

Requirements

High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required
Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to be at work on time and on a consistent basis
Excellent team interaction and communication is a priority for this role
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including the movement of materials weighing 5-50 lbs
Ability to obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operations
Due to US Export Control laws and regulations; applicants selected for employment must show proof of a U.S. Person status before employment may begin.

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging preferred
Ability to obtain/maintain BATF approval to work with our products

Responsibilities

Places parts in specific relationship to each other with extreme accuracy
Operates and tends automatic and manual processing equipment
Uses a variety of hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures
Works at different workstations as production needs require
Performs general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure a safe working condition for all employees
Performs general maintenance of equipment as required
Ability to recognize and report all operational variances as trained
