About The Position

Vanderlande Logistics is seeking experienced mechanical and electrical controls technicians for Maintenance Mechanic Level II opportunities at the Austin, Texas International Airport. This role involves supporting the team by performing maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and testing of Baggage Handling Systems and their associated components. The position requires the ability to provide accurate and timely written reports on safety, operational, and maintenance activities, interpret data, and suggest adjustments to maintenance schedules to the Manager. Daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activity schedules must also be updated.

Requirements

HS Diploma or GED required.
Electro-Electronics / Mechanical skills required.
Excellent Customer Relations skills.
Adhere to all safety regulations and safe work practices.
Mechanical troubleshooting skills include but are not limited to belts, bearings, pulleys, drives, and gearmotors.
Industrial electrical troubleshooting skills.
Maintenance management software skills.
Tracking inventory.
Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings per airport requirements.
Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

2-5 years of experience.
