About The Position

Under supervision, performs visually inspects and diagnoses repairs that are necessary for the maintenance of all vehicles and equipment; performs related work as assigned.

Requirements

2-3 years experience troubleshooting and repairing.
Excellent mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of shop equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Detail oriented.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Must have your own tools.
Must be able to travel as needed.
Must be 21 years of age.
10-year criminal background search.
Clean driving history.
Pre-employment drug screen.
Valid Driver's License (REAL ID).
Social Security Card.

Nice To Haves

CDL A is a plus but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Test and inspect hydraulic pumps, valves, motors, hoses, cylinders, etc...
Diagnose and perform basic, intermediate, and advanced vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Perform engine tune-ups.
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components.
Perform oil changes.
Perform tire rotation and tire changes.
Replace filters.
Work on mechanical and electrical systems.
Replace various parts and components.
Conduct test drives on trucks.
Perform quality inspections prior to returning vehicles to the crew.
Communicate with vehicle operators.
Perform welding/fabricating.
Work on diesel vehicles.
Travel as needed.
