Requirements

Experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, construction equipment, and fleet vehicles.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Ability to diagnose problems accurately and complete repairs efficiently.
Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair documentation.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

CDL is a plus.
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair company vehicles, heavy equipment, and construction equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
Perform preventive maintenance services including oil changes, inspections, tune-ups, and scheduled maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they result in equipment failures or safety concerns.
Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns by performing repairs in the shop or at field job sites.
Coordinate with operations and field leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime on active projects.
Order, inventory, and manage parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair logs, and service documentation for all company vehicles and equipment.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company safety standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Support other maintenance and equipment initiatives as needed to keep our operations running efficiently.
