About The Position
Keystone Cooperative is seeking a dedicated Mechanic to join their team. This role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of vehicles and industry-specific machinery. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with mechanical experience, capable of working independently and as part of a team. This position requires the ability to work at considerable heights and in various environmental conditions.
Requirements
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
- Previous mechanical experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Able to work efficiently and competently
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact with management when equipment goes down
- Maintain accurate documentation of equipment and equipment checks and repairs
- Take machinery apart for replacement or repair and adjust oils, fix and replace machinery parts
- Work on and maintain fleet of vehicles including cars, pickup trucks and large trucks
- Complete all documentation in a legible, accurate and timely manner
- Work with industry-specific machines including but not limited to: Grain legs, conveyors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, pumps, bearings, belting and compressors
- Follow all safety guidelines
