About The Position

Maintain an organized and efficient shop environment to support daily operations and equipment readiness. Prioritize and complete work orders in coordination with leadership to ensure deadlines are met. Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on fleet vehicles and construction equipment. Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components on trucks and trailers. Mount and balance tires while ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Manage tool and parts inventory to minimize downtime and keep equipment operational. Coordinate and communicate repair progress, schedules, and equipment status with management. Provide backup support for freight and material deliveries between North Dakota and Minnesota branch locations. Assist with yard organization and maintain awareness of equipment, materials, and tool storage locations. Participate in ongoing safety, product knowledge, and operational training sessions. Support field crews by ensuring vehicles and equipment are reliable, allowing projects to be completed on time and to high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Prior experience repairing/maintaining 1-ton diesel trucks, skid steers, small engines, and trailers.
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Computer skills required.

  • ERP experience beneficial.
