The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing company equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This is a safety-sensitive role that requires strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards. Prospective employees must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in equipment or vehicle maintenance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in English for communication, following highway signs, and completing reports.
• CDL driving experience from military service accepted.

Nice To Haves

• Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
