About The Position

Oversee the maintenance, functionality and repairs of company equipment, tools and materials. This role is crucial for ensuring that company vehicles and equipment are in optimal working condition to support daily operations and job site readiness. The mechanic will be responsible for a variety of equipment, including CDL vehicles, pick-up trucks, aerial lifts, brush chippers, mobile equipment, and small engine equipment. The position involves both preventative maintenance and repair work to keep the fleet operational and safe.

Requirements

Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Valid CDL driver’s license or ability to get it upon hire
Bring your own tools
Experience in truck mechanical repairs, diesel engines, and hydraulics

Responsibilities

Inspect and repair office vehicles and equipment including but not limited to: CDL Vehicles: Bucket Trucks, Log Trucks, Chip Trucks, etc.
Inspect and repair Pick-Up Trucks
Inspect and repair Aerial Lifts
Inspect and repair Brush Chippers
Inspect and repair Mobile Equipment
Inspect and repair Small Engine equipment
Properly maintain, prepare and operate all tools and equipment including tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more.
