Requirements

  • 2 years or more verifiable experience and/or training in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • ASE Master Technician certification
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s license for the local fleet type.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.
  • Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains records and reports, such as daily vehicle inspections.
  • Provides road service.
  • Ensure the PMs are performed according to state and federal standards.
  • Assist fleet attendants as needed.
  • May act as lead person in supervisor’s absence.
  • Understand and follow company contract requirements.
  • Work area maintained according to OSHA regulations.
  • Perform repair on accident vehicles as needed.
  • Additional job duties can be assigned as needed.
