Requirements
- 2 years or more verifiable experience and/or training in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance shop or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
- ASE Master Technician certification
- Must possess a valid Driver’s license for the local fleet type.
Responsibilities
- Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.
- Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Prepares and maintains records and reports, such as daily vehicle inspections.
- Provides road service.
- Ensure the PMs are performed according to state and federal standards.
- Assist fleet attendants as needed.
- May act as lead person in supervisor’s absence.
- Understand and follow company contract requirements.
- Work area maintained according to OSHA regulations.
- Perform repair on accident vehicles as needed.
- Additional job duties can be assigned as needed.
