About The Position
ALNYE Trucking (dba Nye’s Truck Repair & Wash) is seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team at our Moravia location. This is a full-time, night shift position with on-call responsibilities and occasional travel to service calls. We’re a family-oriented company offering a competitive wage and benefits package. Prior mechanic experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Valid NYS Driver’s License (Required)
- Willingness to travel (Approx. 25%)
- On-call availability, including weekends & overtime
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of mechanic experience (Preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle and equipment maintenance/repair
- Schedule and coordinate preventive/emergency services across Moravia, Cortland & Utica terminals
- Transport vehicles, tools, or parts as needed
- Maintain and track inventory of parts, tools, and supplies
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
