About The Position

Under supervision performs visually inspects and diagnoses repairs that are necessary for the maintenance of all vehicles and equipment; performs related work as assigned.

Requirements

Experience as an automotive/diesel mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Detail oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Must have your own tools
Must be able to travel as needed
Work may be required on weekends
Must be 21 years of age
Have 2 - 3 years’ experience preferred
10-year criminal background search.
Clean driving history
Pre-employment drug screen
Valid Driver's License (REAL ID).
Social Security Card.
Excellent mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

CDL A is a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities

Test and inspect hydraulic pumps, valves, motors, hoses, cylinders, etc...
Ability to diagnose and perform basic, intermediate, and advanced vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Engine tune-ups
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Oil changes
Tire rotation and tire changes
Replace filters
Ability to work on mechanical and electrical systems
Replace various parts and components
Conduct test drives on trucks
Perform quality inspections prior to returning vehicles to the crew
Communication with vehicle operators
Welding/Fabricating skills
Ability to work on diesel vehicle
