This role involves repairing, setting up, and troubleshooting production machinery independently. "B" Mechanics assist in repairs and troubleshooting. The position also includes performing scheduled preventative maintenance weekly, reading inspection gauges, and performing recordkeeping duties. The mechanic will request parts from the Toolroom, communicate engineering issues, and create work requests. They will issue parts to machines using Mobisys for SAP recording, perform safety checks on production machinery, and follow lockout procedures. Additionally, the role involves monitoring multiple high-speed assembly machines and acting as a backup to the Assembly Technician. Housekeeping duties are also part of the responsibilities.
