About The Position

This role involves performing maintenance and repair on a fleet of vehicles and industry-specific machinery. The mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple priorities, and work in various environmental conditions, including at considerable heights.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact with management when equipment goes down
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment and equipment checks and repairs
• Take machinery apart for replacement or repair and adjust oils, fix and replace machinery parts
• Work on and maintain fleet of vehicles including cars, pickup trucks and large trucks
• Complete all documentation in a legible, accurate and timely manner
• Work with industry-specific machines including but not limited to: Grain legs, conveyors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, pumps, bearings, belting and compressors
• Follow all safety guidelines
