Requirements

Previous experience as a mechanic or equipment technician.
Strong knowledge of automotive, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop effective repair solutions.
Comfortable using power tools, shop equipment, and diagnostic technology.
Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working in various shop conditions.
Someone who takes ownership of their work and pays close attention to detail.
Dependable, accountable, and committed to doing the job right the first time.
A team player who communicates well and is always willing to lend a hand.
Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

Inspect trucks, trailers, and equipment to identify mechanical issues before they become bigger problems.
Diagnose and repair automotive, trailer, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using professional tools and diagnostic equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Repair or replace worn and damaged components with a focus on quality and reliability.
Complete tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and other routine maintenance.
Repair electrical components and solder connections when needed.
Maintain organized service records and document completed repairs.
Work closely with the operations team to keep equipment field-ready and minimize downtime.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
