About The Position

Rango is a leading mining services company across the Southwest, partnering with mining and construction companies. We are adding to our Maintenance Team and seeking a highly skilled Mechanic who safely performs diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment. Requirements

• Five (5) years mechanical experience.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
• Must be dependable and report to work on time.
• Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) years related experience, with Komatsu, Volvo, and Hitachi.

Responsibilities

• Perform the removal, repair, and installation of transmissions, engines, brakes, differentials, pumps, motors, torque converters, final drives, and other heavy equipment systems or components.
• Perform mechanical and lubrication preventive maintenance on machine systems such as hydraulic, power train, and engines.
• Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
