About The Position

Responsible for the manufacturing of hydraulic machinery from drawings. This role relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. The successful candidate must pass a welding test. Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)
• 2-5 years of experience reading hydraulic, electrical circuit, and general arrangement drawings and bills of material
• Welding experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truck

Responsibilities

• Read hydraulic and electrical circuit and general arrangement drawings.
• Understand a bill of material and its relationship to a drawing.
• Layout and assemble hydraulic components using hand-held tools.
• Fabricate tubing, piping, and hose assemblies using hand-held and bench-mounted equipment.
• Drill and tap holes using hand-held and bench-mounted power tools.
• Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel plates and piping.
• Assist in testing all manufactured assemblies.
