This position is an on-call role with no regularly assigned work shifts, requiring work on an as-needed basis. The primary responsibilities include supporting CVRF’s Community Service Center by providing aluminum boat repairs, customization, small engine repair, fabrication projects, soliciting shop space, and handling fishermen bunk rentals. Specific duties involve aluminum boat welding repairs, customizations, and fabrications, interacting with the public for service requests, providing cost estimates, performing repairs, and collecting fees. The role also includes facilitating shop and bunk room rentals, completing and forwarding work orders, and maintaining technical knowledge through workshops and publications. Other duties may be assigned.
