About The Position

Performs API and special customer mechanical tests on samples in a safe and efficient manner, following applicable procedures and defined quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure instruments are in good condition by checking expiration dates and correct functioning.
• Execute machine changeovers and setup.
• Perform API and special customer mechanical tests, such as Tensile, Charpy, Hardness, DWTT, or Fatigue tests.
• Operate computerized machines.
• Prepare quality reports of test results and notify the responsible section when a test is out of specification.
• Update information in tracking systems and record test results.
