This position is responsible for detecting, diagnosing, and repairing coaches, with a focus on major, complicated, and complex problems. The role involves performing both in-house and road call repairs using various tools, performing upgrades and modifications, and utilizing computer diagnostic equipment. The mechanic will also be responsible for researching and evaluating coach problems, assisting management with tracking trends and parts usage, testing coaches, filling out work orders, and providing direction and on-the-job instruction to other mechanics.
