About The Position

Buddy Moore Trucking is seeking a Mechanic / Shop Worker to perform basic preventative maintenance on trucks, including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire changes. The role may also involve assisting experienced mechanics with repairs. This position requires the ability to perform day-to-day physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, crawling, turning, and lifting moderately heavy objects.

Requirements

• Ability to perform day-to-day physical tasks involving moderately demanding work including: standing, kneeling, crawling, turning, and pushing or lifting moderately heavy objects.
• Demonstrate focus and attention to detail.
• Work independently and with a team with minimal supervision.
• Must be a team player with a strong commitment.
• Must show up to work on time every day.
• Must keep work stations clean and organized daily.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Drug and alcohol free.
• High work ethic.
• Willingness to be taught and follow directions.

• A basic need of tools and knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities
