About The Position
Have a summer of FUN! Join our team to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all rides and attractions at Darien Lake. Position begins at $20.00. Free admission to park and other Six Flags locations.
Requirements
- Possess the ability to work at heights.
- Must possess own hand tools.
- Must have basic mechanical knowledge to include; gear reduction, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical.
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner.
- Must be able to read, understand and implement maintenance and inspection procedures.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid New York State Drivers License and successful completion of Darien Lake Vehicle Training program.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, erect, repair and troubleshoot rides and attractions to insure their safe and efficient operation with minimum supervision.
- Track ride parts inventory and submit request supply needs.
- Perform required maintenance to ensure rides are clean and in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
- Maintain compliance and documentation to manufacturer specifications, park standards, and state regulations.
- Inspect rides and attractions and notify the department leadership of any hazards that may endanger the general public of Darien Lake staff.
- Operate within the policies and procedures of Darien Lake.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in area of responsibility.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
