Requirements

Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Ability to solder, braise, and perform mechanical repairs on various components of refrigerated units.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma, or relevant experience preferred.
2+ years of experience with Carrier, Thermon King, or similar refrigerated units.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have all around skills and be able to make minor electrical, plumbing, a/c, painting, wallpaper and carpentry repairs.
Must possess a high level of accuracy and neatness.
Must be flexible to work overnight and pm shifts as needed

Nice To Haves

EPA certification for handling refrigerants is strongly preferred
ASE certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on refrigerated units according to manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues, including starting and charging systems, compressors, evaporators, condensers, and refrigerant lines.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal safety.
