About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Mechanic - Level 3. This role performs preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. The fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty locations may also have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas related equipment. This position offers the opportunity to build skills on various makes and models of equipment, develop new skills for a career track in service or operations management, and work with a team in a safety-focused environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 + years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• May need to provide tools of the trade.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
