About The Position
Performs construction and maintenance on Elizabethtown Gas Company distribution systems. This includes installation of mains and services, repairs of gas leaks, pipe coating, locating and mark-outs, main and service deactivation and activation, and valve lubrication and maintenance. The role also involves plastic fusion and acting as first response to potential leaks and other gas-related emergencies. The position requires operating a Kubota and Backhoe and completing all associated paperwork.
Requirements
- Experience in construction work
- Familiar with the use of air tools and construction equipment
- Valid NJ Driver's License
- High school diploma; Or equivalent academic education and experience may be considered.
