About The Position
This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining company gas vehicles, diesel tractor trailers, and lift trucks to meet OSHA and DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a mechanic required.
Responsibilities
- Performing Routine Preventative Maintenance and Repairs
- Troubleshooting / Repairing, Brakes, Air Systems, Electrical, Suspension, Air Conditioning, etc.
- Diagnose & Repair Diesel Engines & Transmissions
- Must be able to work independently
- Communicate and coordinate with outside vendors, the traffic department and others to ensure that repairs and maintenance are completed timely and correctly.
- Prepare repair orders and inspection forms.
- Assist in other duties and functions as directed by management.
