The Mechanic I is responsible for basic repairs, calibration, and maintenance on equipment. This position will lead the team in the equipment diagnosis and repairs, directing and assisting Assemblers to further their knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting and equipment maintenance. YOUR IMPACT These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned : Completion of activity-based repairs and service requirements as delineated on sales change orders. Install various equipment accessories (decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights) Follow verbal and written work instructions Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Must have basic knowledge of DC electricity and hydraulics, including basic print understanding Must have basic computer skills and be able to use an iPad or laptop to input findings guided by user friendly programs. Basic understanding and usage of tools such as Multimeter, pressure tester and analyzer. Must be able to learn to drive and use a forklift Must be able to lift the safe and permissible weight. Must be able to withstand standing all day and walking long distances Must be able to stoop and work at low positions Aid in maintaining inventory accuracy through data entry Must be able to work overtime and/or 7 days a week Regular attendance All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
