About The Position

Assists mechanics by performing the primary function of sewing equipment maintenance, such as lubricating equipment, installing needle protectors, and performing other assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in industrial equipment or sewing equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Does preventive maintenance on equipment (i.e., change oil, blow motors, adjust machines, clean machines, check times)
  • Record keeping- records equipment preventive maintenance by keeping logs on maintenance performed.
  • Install safety equipment, such as needle protectors and guards.
  • All other duties as assigned.
