About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with Fleet Operations and Maintenance and reports to the Branch Manager.

High School graduate or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of lube & oil.
Possession of valid driver’s license for at least 3 years and ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles from 2,000 to 50,000 lbs. in size.
Minimum of two years of experience conducting or managing light utility or truck repair and maintenance or a graduate from a reputable trade school.
Clean driving record

Knowledge of fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle maintenance.
Operational knowledge of diesel equipment and tools normally associated with the troubleshooting and repairs of gasoline and diesel truck equipment.
Knowledge of truck electrical and air-conditioning systems.
Knowledge of International Series medium-duty truck
Ability to read and understand technical service manuals, repair orders, labels, and gauges (in English).
Ability to write service orders.
Ability to communicate verbally (in English) using telephone for ordering parts and supplies.
Computer usage and basic data entry.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Assist an experienced automotive mechanic service and repair of all fleet vehicles.
Drive automatic vehicles for testing, transfer, and pick-up/delivery of parts.
Perform inventory and order parts, supplies, as needed.
Clean work area.
