About The Position

Kieffer Sanitation, a Waste Connections Company, is seeking a PM Tech in Custer, South Dakota. This role involves performing repairs, inspections, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, utilizing vehicle computer systems, reviewing and completing repair reports, managing paperwork with fleet maintenance software, test driving trucks, assisting team members, and maintaining a safe work area. Requirements

• Proficiency in diesel vehicle diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair
• Basic tool set (Tool Allowance Provided!)
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, inspections, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, including oil changes, tires, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Utilize vehicle computer electrical systems to interpret failure modes and adjust engine and vehicle control modules
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software
• Test drive trucks after services and repairs
• Assist team members with repairs as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean work area in compliance with OSHA and company standards
