About The Position

Performs mechanic and electric inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions autonomously, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform mechanic and electric inspections, diagnosis, and corrective actions autonomously.
  • Ability to perform general mechanic or electric inspections, diagnosis, repairs, and replacements autonomously.
  • Ability to perform failure analysis and establish root causes.
  • Experience with electrical engine repairs and circuit analysis.
  • Experience with PLC program loading.
  • Experience with equipment alignments.
  • Experience with low voltage panel replacements.
  • Ability to monitor alarms in PLC cycle.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with crane inspection, diagnosis, and repair.
  • Ability to disassemble and assemble mechanical components.
  • Ability to execute maintenance plans.
  • Ability to perform equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control autonomously.
  • Ability to execute machine lock outs and tag outs.
  • Ability to verify the correct functioning of tools, instruments, and accessories.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or radio control overhead cranes when applicable.
  • Ability to update information in maintenance systems and perform maintenance reports.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general mechanic or electric inspections, diagnosis, repairs and replacements autonomously.
  • Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
  • Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root cause and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
  • Performs mechanic and electric activities such as electrical engines repairs and circuit analysis, PLC programs loading, equipment alignments or low voltage panel replacements.
  • Monitors alarms in PLC cycle.
  • Interprets electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Carries out crane inspection, diagnosis and repair.
  • Disassembles and assembles mechanical components.
  • Executes maintenance plans.
  • Carries out equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control autonomously.
  • Executes machine lock outs and tag outs.
  • Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications.
  • Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
  • Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
