About The Position

Performs mechanic and electric inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions autonomously, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards.

Requirements

Ability to perform general mechanic or electric inspections, diagnosis, repairs and replacements autonomously.
Ability to follow up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
Ability to make failure analysis, establishing the problems' root cause and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
Ability to perform mechanic and electric activities such as electrical engines repairs and circuit analysis, PLC programs loading, equipment alignments or low voltage panel replacements.
Ability to monitor alarms in PLC cycle.
Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Ability to carry out crane inspection, diagnosis and repair.
Ability to disassemble and assemble mechanical components.
Ability to execute maintenance plans.
Ability to carry out equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control autonomously.
Ability to execute machine lock outs and tag outs.
Ability to verify the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications.
Ability to carry out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
Ability to update information in the maintenance systems and perform maintenance reports.

Responsibilities
