About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join their team as Field Service Technicians specializing in dock and door equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and installing dock and door equipment, as well as performing planned maintenance. The position requires maintaining a service van and its inventory, processing paperwork, and potentially performing welding. Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Work Authorization: Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
