About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Dock and Door Service Tech. This role involves servicing, repairing, and installing dock and door equipment, performing planned maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position requires a commitment to safety and efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Welding experience.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
