About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance and determine courses of action for damaged parts and systems. This role involves repairing malfunctioning components, retrofitting engines, changing brakes, adjusting steering systems, replacing worn-out parts, and changing hydraulic fluids. The mechanic will utilize computerized equipment, along with various tools such as lathes, welding torches, pneumatic wrenches, hydraulic jacks, screwdrivers, pliers, mallets, and precision gauges. A key part of the job includes test driving trucks before and after repairs, as needed, to ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a mechanic required.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic math skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to take guidance and direction from a supervisor.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
