About The Position

Xtreme Manufacturing is seeking highly motivated Class A Mechanics in Henderson, NV with a strong mechanical background to join our production team. We are seeking a inclined mechanic who is committed to quality, with high attention to detail, is a team leader and takes pride in their work. A good candidate will need to focus on meeting production goals and ensure that quality comes first. As a Mechanic, you will perform installations, and repairs on all makes and models of Xtreme equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to repair, install, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components to ensure the optimal performance of the equipment. As a Mechanic, you are expected to have at least 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment service and repairs. This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of shop or field service experience on construction equipment.
  • Intermediate understanding of mechanical systems and assemblies, and how parts function together.
  • Strong technical/diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to identify assembly issues and devise solutions.
  • Attention to detail in following schematics, order of operations and quality standards.
  • Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools and assembly equipment (i.e., impact guns, sockets, wrenches, VOM).
  • Must possess a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend written and verbal English.
  • Must be able to thrive in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling parts for our telescopic handler, forklift, and delivery truck lines of equipment.
  • Pre-assemble and install parts including axles, hydraulic components, radiators, bearings, hoses, wiring, engines, and cabs.
  • Rework, repair and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
  • Read and interpret assembly blueprints.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop.
  • Perform other duties as assignment by management.
