About The Position
Provide essential support for daily fleet and shop operations by performing general maintenance, repairs and cleaning of vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance. Help maintain a clean, organized and functional work environment. Operate vehicles and motorized equipment, as needed, to support operational needs. This is a great opportunity to gain relevant municipal experience and a very good job for those seeking short-term employment. This position is scheduled up to 40 hours per week from April to October.
Requirements
- 18 years age or older
- Current enrollment or enrolling in an upcoming semester or recently graduated from an automotive/mechanic program.
- Valid MN driver’s license
Responsibilities
- General maintenance, repair, and cleaning of equipment and vehicles.
- Maintain shop floors, tools, and shop equipment.
- Operation of vehicles, motorized equipment, and shop equipment.
- Pick up and deliver parts from vendors.
