The Meat Wrapper is responsible for grinding meat, wrapping cut products, stocking and rotating lunch meat and chicken products, identifying and removing out-of-code products, and learning UPC codes and meat cuts. This role also involves assisting customers, inspecting meat products for freshness, facing merchandise, cutting open boxes, packaging meat for sale, operating a scale/UPC labeler, and grinding meat. Additional duties may include climbing ladders or stair towers, stacking off pallets, building displays, operating a baler, operating a lift, answering calls, and operating a trash compactor.
