About The Position

This role involves assisting customers and other staff, as well as processing bulk meat for sale. The Meat Cutter will inspect meat products for freshness, face merchandise in the department, and operate various meat processing equipment. The position requires working in an average room temperature of 34°F. Other duties include climbing ladders or stair towers to reach stock, preparing items for wrapping, stacking pallets, receiving shipments, assisting customers, stocking and rotating product, and answering calls.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects meat products for freshness
