About The Position
Duties vary within production. Duties include but not limited to opening meat, de-boxing, carrying boxes, moving product through production area. Manuel transfer of meat, moving equipment, making boxes, possible operation of basic processing equipment. May include some basic sanitation duties.
Requirements
- Experience working in a team environment
- Ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands
- Commitment to work until the job is completed
- Interacts well with others
- Good team player
- Ability to be trained and learn new skills
- Heavy lifting activities
- Standing, walking and reaching are regular activities
- Ability to touch, feel, manipulate fingers and limbs to operate various processing and material handling equipment
- Ability to smell is required, in order to detect levels of wholesomeness and spoilage
- Must be in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas
- Exposure to moving machinery and sharp surfaces are a regular occurrence
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
