Requirements

Must have working knowledge of production equipment.
Demonstrated ability to trim various cuts of Beef, Pork, Lamb and Veal in an accurate and timely manner.
Follows company’s Quality Control procedures.
Ability to problem solve in terms of trimming and product substitutions.
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure, challenging environment
Must be a team player and possess a positive attitude.
Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, in English.
You are required to provide your most recent employment experience for your application to be considered complete.

Responsibilities

Trims raw material to customer specifications in order to be cut for orders.
Works with supervisors and production managers to schedule production.
Cleans and trims carcasses for future processing.
Inspects meat products for defects, bruises, or blemishes and removes them as necessary.
Separates meats and byproducts into specified containers and seals containers.
Uses knives, cleavers, and other equipment to trim.
Weighs meats and tags containers for weight and contents.
Effectively completes tasks to reduce processing costs.
Follows company’s detailed product specifications.
Performs other duties as assigned.
