About The Position

Ability to cut meat to customer specifications with a high yielding level of skill. Support the production team with the proper level of trimmed product ready for further processing.

Requirements

  • Meat trimming and Knife skills
  • Basic knowledge of meat cuts
  • Working in team environment
  • Ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals
  • Commitment to work until the job is completed

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Able to see deficiencies in raw materials
  • Ability to identify the product by proper name at sight as well as the ability to trim all loins
  • Ability to label /identify sub primal cuts after trimming to ensure product is ready for next step in processing.
  • Knowledge of basic cuts and trim that prep table is responsible for producing (stew, roasts, PTRs, etc.)
  • Some heavy lifting required
